Paisley is a large town situated in the west central Lowlands of Scotland. Located north of the Gleniffer Braes, the town borders the city of Glasgow to the east, and straddles the banks of the White Cart Water, a tributary of the River Clyde.

Earning the nickname “Scotland Largest Town” Paisley boasts a population of over 77,000 and home to UWS University West of Scotland. Paisley is already one of Scotland’s key destinations for events, with 160,000 visits a year to a mixture of big days out such as the Halloween Festival and The Spree, which between them were worth £1.2m to the local economy in 2019.
